About Carl Esprey
CEO of Botanical Holdings

Carl Esprey founded Botanical Holdings in early 2020 with a focus on investing within the legal cannabis sector.

He leads a management team that includes experts across the whole range of disciplines within this industry. This includes legal cannabis cultivation, pharmacology, agronomy, product development and pharmaceuticals.

Since launch, Botanical Holdings has acquired assets including the EuroCan division (which has cultivation facilities in Portugal and Lesotho), representing the company’s first steps into becoming a world leader in the production of legally approved cannabis products for medicinal use. Carl Esprey is also Executive Director of LSE-listed Contango Holdings Plc, which holds gold and coal exploration assets in Africa and Waraba Gold Limited a CSE-listed company focussed on West African gold exploration.

A qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, Carl Esprey has worked within the natural resource investment and development sector for many years.
